Recycling Matters

Carton boxes are versatile and widely used in various industries due to their practicality, affordability and aesthetic appeal. However, the most important advantage is not the previous given characteristics of carton packaging. The importance of folding carton / paper packaging is the advantage of recycling rates of raw material.

In accordance with the EPPA ( European Paper Packaging Alliance ) and Eurostat reports, paper continues to be recycled on average 82.5%. Many countries even surpassed the EU’s 2030 target of 85% recycling. This makes paper packaging with the highest recycling rates among all the packaging types and give more advantage while compared to plastic, flexible, tinplate or aluminium packaging types.

 

Paper is one of the most recycled materials, and its fibres have extensive secondary uses.
